Day 7

Got up this morning to...  to... 140.2 lb. I.e. -0.4 lb from yesterday. Meh - Not thrilled, but I continue to lose.

I walked last night,  I did crunches... so whyyyy no great 1 lb a day as guaranteed?

Sigh...

Got to work, had coffee, went to meeting, went to bathroom... HELLO RED RIDING HOOD!

I had my monthy visitor!

That should explain today's weight...

Oops - that now means that Days 8 and 9 are shifted from tomorrow and Sunday to Monday and Tuesday etc... ah well. Gotta follow the rules: no HCG shots during at least the first two days of your lady times.

Still gotta follow the VLCD diet though - ouch!

Day 6

Another lb!!

Yey!

So, I did indeed go for a half hour uphill walk yesterday - after dinner :) It was fab! I got up, weighed, and was proud of myself!

Today, I had lunch - finally! I had an apple at midday, then a chicken breast and small salad for lunch.

Verdict? Not hungry at all?!

Guilty? Very - suppose I don't lose any weight tomorrow?! I'm so scared!

Btw - I cooked sea bass today with Trinidadian curry and some geera seasoning:

God, I must walk again tonight - I pray that I lose more tomorrow!

And it begins...


...with a tip of the scale at 149 lbs… 149 lbs???????? I never ever thought I’d see the day.
It was so hard to admit, that I kept it to myself for some days, until I had to share it with the Sister Blister… now, mind you, I had just had a 3 sushi rolls by my lonesome, way, way too late at night and well, a super heavy eating day before that. So, what did I do?
For starters, thank God it was a Friday night and I can go to bed knowing that I have a 2 hour spin class in the morning. Saturday morning: wake up, weight: 148 lb – ugh. Ok, caffeine inserted into mouth and off I went – 2 hours later, I’m pooped. And I proceeded (sigh) to not eat for the rest of the day. Result? Sunday morning weight: 145 lbs.
Sunday – repeat, but ate salads for 2 meals. Monday morning result? 143.8 lbs!
Ok, so obviously it wasn’t real fatty weight or whatever, but having the scale even considering showing me over 145 lbs was a super duper wake up call.
After having a casual conversation with a colleague, his new diet came up… something I’ve heard before but never knew how to get a hold of it… HCG shots! After some hearty discussions and some heavy research, I got on it. Best thing was, I had a 2 day trip to NOLA (oh dear Lord, I love N’awlins) over the weekend… WHAT A PERFECT LOADING HOLIDAY! So, NOLA trip was super amazing – I drank and ate like there was no tomorrow… and gained 2 lbs during my loading phase. However, talk about MOTIVATED to start fresh on Monday morning!

Day 1 – 2

NOLA BABY!!! Drank: a lot of everything (in particular: Sazerac and Abita). Ate: um, the city J Gumbo, Jambalaya, Beignets, Muffalettas (lunch muff!), coffee with chickaree. Soaked in: Frenchman streets amazing live music and vibe… I want to go to there.

Day 3

Date: Monday 22nd September, 2012
Weight: 146.4 lbs
HCG dose: 2ml (injected in the belly)
B-12: one dropper full (started with the drops)

Now, problems? Yes. I didn’t eat lunch, and had an apple instead. Actually, since I am starting this blog on Day 5, I, um, did that from Days 3 – 5. Whoopsie daisy.
Anyways! Let’s see what days 4 and 5 were like:

Day 4

Date: Tuesday 23rd September, 2012
Weight: 143.8 lbs
Weight difference: -2.6 lbs
HCG dose: 2ml (injected in the belly – it stung!)
B-12: one chewable (started with the pills)

Day 5

Date: Wednesday 24th September, 2012
Weight: 141.8 lbs
Weight difference: -2.0 lbs
HCG dose: 2ml (injected in the butt)
B-12: one chewable and a little drops (whoopsie :D)

Note: I got sick… on Day 4… sneezing and coughing.
Hungry? Yes, on Day 4 during the night the hunger got me. Day 5 (current day) my tummy grumbled after my second apple (no lunch, just two apples spaced out during mid morning to mid afternoon). 
Finally got home to eat: cooked amazing jerk chicken with arugula & baby spinach salad with vinaigrette dressing... got too full! Tummy ached! I gotta stop missing lunch so that I don't feel like this... on the bright side, look at that mean mean meal! This diet is also teaching me to cook! Holla!




Now, mind you, I am disappointed that I am not peeing yellow. Hence the reason for me taking both the dropper AND the pill. I chewed it, stuck the granules under my tongue and left it there for some minutes, but still – no characteristic yellow pee. Bummer. However, I am not sleepy and I am a caffeine addict… or should I say, WAS ;)
Mood: overall, feeling pretty good. There is nothing as satisfying as losing weight and regaining confidence. Do I look any different after 2 days and ~4 lbs? Nope. Don’t think so.
Working out: due to being sick (ahem!) and someone stealing my amazing beats headphones, I haven’t been to the gym. I do plan to at least go walking tonight. I will tell you more about that later ;) IF it happens J

These things also add to my want to start another project – Zue’s happiness project… to come!

God, please let me see less than 141 lbs in the morning!
